You've heard about affirmations and some people say they don't work. I am here to show you that is not true Affirmations are foundational to all changes in the brain, but this confusion often comes because somebody might have tried using affirmations, using one method or another, and it didn't work for them so, in this video, I'll explain why they do work and give you 20 powerful affirmation statements that could influence your subconscious in two different methods. To try for yourself to bring about positive changes and you can start this today. This brings me to exactly what are affirmations and how do they work. Hi, I'm Kate Wilder and on my channel I help elevate your life through techniques like reinvention, manifestation, and other practical self improvement methods. I offer coaching classes designed to help you expedite your goals using the most effective techniques available. To understand affirmations, our thoughts have a significant impact on what happens to us, right? So remember that we think about 60, 000 thoughts a day. affirmations can help you correct The selected negative and limiting ones, the ones that might be the most powerful in your life. Let's first talk about how do you frame affirmations to write them. I prefer on focusing on more expansive statements that are all inclusive. some of my examples are, my expectations are always exceeded. Things always work out for me. I always see evidence of money showing up in unexpected ways. You can also add another method to this that adds a level of certainty, by adding the two words, of course, to the beginning. This of course method, in front of any affirmation, will help a lot. So, in other words, you could say, of course my expectations are always exceeded. Of course, I always see evidence of money showing up in my life. Of course, things always work out for me. Affirmations will change your brain's neuroplasticity and help that reticular system reorganize itself by forming new neural pathways. There was a study published in the Journal of Social Cognition and Affective Neuroscience. that use neuroimaging techniques to show self affirmations can reduce stress and increase activity in brain regions that are associated with self related processing. By consistently affirming statements as fact, as though they've already happened. You can start to reprogram your subconscious mind, a lot of people have the impression You have to spend all day repeating statements to yourself, and this is just not true You can pick any method you like because they all activate the reticular region of the brain next, here's one of the simplest ways to start using affirmations. Every day by selecting one write it down three times in the morning and three times in the evening. When you're doing this, focus on what you're saying. Allow it to sink in. This will take under, 60 seconds. Do it with your morning coffee. Then build up to adding, if you can, in the middle of the day, if your schedule permits that. You can write your own specific affirmation, focusing on a singular goal It's up to you, what feel is the most important or timely thing that you'd like to start having happen in your life. Like changing any habit, give it 21 days and see how you feel at that time notice little synchronicities along the way to whatever it is you're working on. This leads me to how do you write affirmations? You want to make sure, they're in the present tense. And you probably already know this. But the trick to this is to, look at the distance between what you're saying and where it is. Let me give you an example of this. You could say, I am drawing abundance toward me. do you see the distance there? It's out there. The abundance is out there. You want to draw it to you. We don't want that. You don't want that distance. You want it to be here right now. a statement like, I am wealthy and abundant, that's in the present right now. but if you're presently broke and have no job prospects, that statement might be too big of a leap from where you're at to where maybe it won't even work for you. You could rephrase into the style of course, unexpected money always comes to me. If you use I am statements, that's perfectly fine. Just make sure that that statement itself isn't too far out of reach. Of course you want to be wealthy. Of course you want to be abundant. You don't necessarily You don't want to wait 10 years to see this manifestation happen. Just like goals, you can chunk these down to the levels that you're comfortable but with a big stretch. When you visualize or add another method to your writing, then you're going to amplify these results. You see the reticular activating system can be coerced you can persuade it before you go to sleep Let yourself sleep about it, You can use statements like I am deeply loved and cherished. I have the relationship of my dreams. I am in perfect health and vitality. I am successful in all my endeavors. I am surrounded by positivity and joy. I am confident and empowered. I'm living my dreams with passion. I'm attracting abundance effortlessly. I deserve all good things. I'm grateful for X in my life. fill in the blank. And how powerful gratitude is, especially kind of the positive frequency of gratitude. It makes it easier for us to get in a positive state, which is always where things can happen faster. This brings me to my next style, these are questions as affirmations that are called ask formations. There's some controversy about this type so I'll leave it up to you to decide if you'd like to give it a try. Alright, so these are using questions instead of statements. For this style, you can try them out for yourself, but if you find that your mind is answering these questions in a weird way, like maybe negative or it actually brings up something that you don't want, then don't use the style. Go back to either the I am, I have statements or the other style. I always. get everything I want. Everything is always working out for me. Those styles. Let me give you a few examples of this style and then you can decide for yourself and try them out. here's number one. Why am I always so lucky? Why do things come to me so effortlessly? Why am I so confident in every situation? Why am I always attracting success easily? How is it I always feel confident and empowered? Why am I always easily attracting abundance? How is it that I'm deserving of all good things? Why am I gaining everything I'd like out of my life? Give a try to any of those types. Feel free to write your own. No matter which modality you choose, there is no right or wrong. The core job is instilling positive statements. in the present state as though it's true now to begin replacing negative thoughts. Aside from journaling, there are many really cool specific ways to write and do affirmations, I'm going to do other videos on this because there's just too much for one video. affirmations work if you do them consistently in the way that works best for you, whether it's writing versus meditation versus hypnosis versus this or that, they will work for you. My friends, if you give them a chance and you do it with enough feeling and enough time. one final thing, don't forget to download that free guide on your subconscious beliefs That I will also show in the description. Thank you for being here again I really enjoy having you with me and I can't wait to see you again. EPI in this video, I'll explain why they do work and give you 8 techniques to instill them into your subconscious that absolutely work so you can choose a method that you like. Now, this brings me to a few ways and methods that you can use to activate your reticular activating system and work with affirmations, thereby changing these subconscious patterns in your mind. I'll keep that as aside other than the exercise I gave you to start. But I want to start with. But I want to first start with brainwave entrainment. So this is one of my favorite techniques that I actually use almost every day. So brainwave entrainment involves using audio or video stimuli to synchronize brainwave frequencies. for a desired outcome. All right, so common brainwave frequencies that we have all heard of are beta, alpha, theta, and delta, right? And we know delta is our deep sleep, theta is the meditative, alpha is relaxation, and beta is the alert state. So when we're trying to change the subconscious mind, it's a lot easier to do this while you're falling asleep in the theta state. As you're, as you're going asleep, your mind is very open to suggestive statements and then in your deep sleep as well. So listening to recordings with embedded affirmations at specific brainwave levels of binaural beats or sounds or sound frequencies will facilitate that deep subconscious change and get past that reticular gatekeeper that's in there in the awake states and fly past the gate, the gatekeeper of the reticular activating system and straight into your subconscious mind. Now, my, my next favorite and most powerful ways that, and these are easy to do, and that is Using self agio frequencies. What the heck is that? Well, there are a number of universal frequencies that exist. They're measured in hertz. For example, a binaural beat, which is a music frequency, or a music style, I should say, Um, so music that is used in the background of meditations, meditation, um, music that's used in the backgrounds in meditations, for example, that utilize various sgio frequencies such as 432 Hertz. That particular herdz is measured and known to increase mental clarity and focus. 7 Hertz is designed to go deeper into meditations. There's 300 and some Hertz, there's, there's a whole bunch of different Hertz levels. I've got some recordings programmed in various Hertz for my meditations, depending upon what I'm trying to achieve for somebody. like a stay awake state where it's an active meditation with affirmations that you can do while you're cleaning the house or working out or driving down the road. It's not going to send you into any kind of a, a sleep state or a drowsy state versus other types of meditations where it will say don't drive or operate. a vehicle, um, or equipment because those will send you into a relaxed state, which is also where you can get more suggestions in past that RAS system and into your subconscious, which is what we want. So I really love salvaggio frequencies in meditations, and I'll be creating more of those on my channel. I have a few of them up now, but keep watching. Again, I say lots of times notifications turned on because. want to, if you like this content. Okay. So then another way to amplify and another way, self agile frequencies are used are in subliminals. So subliminals bypass. Subliminals are typically meditation tapes where you actually don't hear with your own auditory. You can't hear what's being said underneath, but your brain hears in these frequencies what it is that's being said, therefore feeding into your subconscious mind. So that's another way. Guided meditations are perhaps the easiest way to get started with. I'm going to talk a moment about meditation because a lot of people say I can't meditate. Well, or so a lot of people will say I can't meditate or they say I think I'm doing it wrong. I don't know if I'm doing it right. Well, the thing is, you're not doing it wrong. And you can meditate. Listen, I'm not the best visualizer either. Like, when, when you want to close your eyes and see something in your mind's eye, some people can do that very easily and some people can't. That's why writing is better for some and visualizing is better for others. It's, there is no right or wrong. This all works equally as powerfully. So if you would like to learn meditation a little bit, you don't have to go transcendental meditation and all these really high level things. Techniques you can just follow along with guided meditations where they're, they're the easiest form of meditation and are very enjoyable, where each meditation focuses on a central purpose. an outcome and you're guided through usually a scenario or a story with music or a series of affirmations set to that desired outcome. So this is the most popular form of meditation and I love it. There's also other methods like mindfulness meditation and TM and others that are very effective, but they take a lot of training and a lot of time. If you're someone who's busy and you just need some relaxation. feed your brain with some positive affirmations. This is for you, my friend. And, and a little bit of writing along with it each day is very therapeutic, by the way, if you grab a journal and, and do this occasionally, you don't have to do it every single day, but do it as often as you can, depending how, how, um, quickly you really want to change something in your life. It's all up to you and there's no right or wrong. Okay. And lastly, let me look at my notes quick here for you. And I do want to make another statement about hypnosis because hypnosis is another very very powerful Trance like state of focused attention with heightened suggestibility, often induced by a hypnotherapist or through self hypnosis techniques. And nowadays there are a lot of apps and a lot of really great people doing hypnosis. If you're interested in any of that, make a comment on my video. I'll give you. the name of somebody that I personally use his app for my hypnosis sessions that I just love. He's really terrific. And he's also on YouTube. So anyway, individuals are more receptive to affirmations with hypnosis that allow deep subconscious reprogramming and behavior change. There's also things like breathwork techniques. There's pranayama. There are Yoga or holotropic breathwork, which is integrative breathwork. There's pranayama breathwork. Again, these are all a bunch of modalities that when combined with affirmations, alter your subconscious and your state of consciousness and where you can deepen your connection to the subconscious mind. And then finally, there's some energy psychology technique modalities like EFT, the freedom Like EFT, this is Emotional Freedom Technique, or Neuro Linguistic Programming, NLP, that utilize affirmations alongside acupressure points and language patterns to release old emotional blocks. And help to rewire the subconscious mind for positive change These methods offer diverse approaches to all of this and they can be tailored to whatever you prefer Some cost money some are free i'm creating on my channel free meditations that you can Use and and get used to I do have a link. I am going to share for you. However of A very powerful theta, um, meditation that actually has several bonuses with it. It has a sleep meditation and awake meditation, uh, a goal meditation with it and a couple other things. And I use this every single day, morning and night, along with some of my other techniques. I did not create this one, but I am referring it to you. It's 39. There's nothing I can do about the price. But you can't buy it on amazon. It's not on youtube or anywhere I purchased this because I wanted to see if it works and i've been using it for over Uh, two or three months now every day and it has made a big difference So if you're interested in that i'll have a link down there And I'll, I'll put that in the pin comment as well, but you don't have to get that. That's just, that's just a resource for you that I personally really love so far. I like all my own meditations too, but I'm creating a lot more for specific purposes. And the last thing I'll tell you as well is that I am going to roll out creating custom meditations for people like you who have affirmations that you want to focus on around a central role. Issue goal theme whatever and I will make you an eight minute meditation Set to music and voice with the proper sounds and I'll have that information preliminary in The description below as well It it may be up on my website by the time you see this it might not yet But if you make a comment and let i'll i'll tell i'll let you know how to get in touch with me on that one Now, so just remember that whether it's writing or meditation or just getting to know yourself through this affirmation process, through the reticular activating system, through the law of attraction, I'm rolling out these concepts in this whole series so that you can pick and choose a la carte, what might gravitate, what might resonate with you. Because there is no right or wrong. And all my goal is, is to help you achieve your goals and level up your life and get better on some level. I really believe in this, that we all can get better, be better, actualize ourselves, see what we've got inside. I mean, to me, that is the fun of life. In addition to just beyond survival and having good things happen for us. So, in the next episode, number 36, in this Manifestation Series, my favorite number, I'll have a special surprise in that one because 36 is my favorite number in the whole universe. So I have to make this one super special for you. You'll learn more about how to unlock the power of manifestation. And one final thing, don't forget to download that free guide on your subconscious beliefs That I will also show in the description. Thank you for being here again I really enjoy having you with me and I can't wait to see you again. Let's do intro over You've heard about affirmations and some people say they don't work. I am here to show you that is not true And yet Affirmations are foundational to all changes in the brain, and I'm going to show it to you. And I'm going to prove it to you. But this confusion often comes because somebody might have tried using affirmations, using one method or another, and it didn't work for them. Do you know why that is? because they chose the wrong method because affirmations always work if you do them consistently in the way that works best for you, whether it's writing versus meditation versus hypnosis versus this or that, they will work for you. My friends, if you give them a chance and you do it with enough feeling and enough time.
